Additionally, it offers alternative contact numbers for SES and Police Assistance Line, ensuring non-emergency calls are directed to the most relevant service.

Prior to calling Triple Zero (000), it is imperative to stay focused, relevant, and remain on the line. Take a moment to ask yourself:

• Is someone in urgent need of medical assistance or seriously injured?
• Is there a threat to personal safety or property?
• Have you witnessed a severe accident or crime?

If you have answered 'Yes' to any of these questions, immediately dial Triple Zero (000). Remember, calls made to Triple Zero (000) are free.

The app utilizes a mobile phone's GPS functionality along with what3words technology, enabling callers to provide precise location information determined by their smartphone.

The incorporation of what3words in the Emergency Plus app allows Triple Zero (000) callers to quickly and accurately confirm their exact whereabouts.

what3words has uniquely divided the world into 3m squares and assigned each square a distinguishable three-word identifier. This addressing system functions offline, making it ideal for situations where data coverage is unavailable or when one finds themselves in remote areas.
